Monday was orientation and Tuesday I had my first class.
Reality hit and I realized "Oh, I am here to cook and not just eat wonderful meals with Dad".
Here I am in my dashing and very flattering school uniform..
After my first class it was Le Bon Marche time! These were our first macaroons of the trip and they were delicious!
The orchid I came home to after class : )
Our last night was spent meeting Susan Greig. Sue is a friend of a friend of Johnny Stevens who is a long time friend of my dads (catch that?). Her apartment was a generous size and had an incredible view of Les Invalides and le tour eiffel. We sat on her balcony and enjoyed a glass of wine with a trio of snacks (pistachios, tomatoes, and fancy potato chips).
We were feeling very Parisian.

Mollie- I'm loving following your adventure on here! Le bonne marche was one of my favorite places and I lived right by rue cler. I wish Caroline and I could pop over for a visit! Bonne chance!
